2022 Miss Madera, Wee Miss and Tommyhawk

Applications for the 2022 Chowchilla-Madera County Fair Pageants are now available. There will be a mandatory informational meeting held on April, 28th at 5:30pm in the Little Theater for those who desire to run for Miss Madera County, Little Miss Madera County or Tommyhawk. Both the participant and a parent/guardian must be present for anyone under age 18. Completed applications along with pageant fee must be submitted by Wednesday, April 27th at 5:00pm.

Pageant applicants must meet age, residency and eligibility requirements. Miss Madera County contestants must be females between 16-20 years of age, Little Miss Madera County contestants must be females between 6-9 years of age, and Tommyhawk Contest is for males between 6-9 years of age. The ages for all contestants are determined as their age as of May 17, 2022.


The pageant contestants will be evaluated on personal characteristics such as scholastic achievement, community involvement, poise, behavior, personality and other items specific to each category.

The 2022 pageant will be held on Wednesday, May 18th. The winners of each of the three events will be obligated to participate in the Chowchilla Spring Festival parade on Saturday, May 21, 2022. In addition, they will be required to be present daily at the Chowchilla-Madera County Fair, May 18-22, 2022 and appear at other community events throughout the year.
